The whole truth about Asia
Thinking about going to Asia but afraid to do it on your own? Wondering if it’s the right destination for you and what to expect? Worried you won’t manage? Concerned about the weather? Scared of the long flight? Or maybe the language? Wild animals? Diseases?
Don’t worry, we’ll tell you everything.
This won’t be just pretty pictures – you’ll also find the real, sometimes uncomfortable truth that Instagram bloggers won’t tell you.

Meet us
We were (well, used to be) a couple of workaholic managers.
One day it hit us: if we carried on like this, we’d end up with depression, a heart attack, or even divorced.
Money? You can always make it.
Career? You can always chase it.
Health? That you can’t replace - you need to take care of it.
Today, we live in Asia - mostly Thailand and Vietnam
-leading a simpler, but far happier life.
What you’ll find here
Many travelers to Asia describe a kind of wild lifestyle - backpacking, motorbikes, staying in hostels, cheap street food, sleeping in the jungle, extreme adventures. And that’s great! We enjoy those too, but we’re not always in the mood for them.
Others showcase luxury resorts, floating breakfasts in private pools, and bathtubs filled with flowers. Beautiful as well - and if you have the resources, it’s a wonderful way to relax your body and mind. But honestly, we don’t have that kind of budget 😉
What we want to show you instead is accessible travel - for the “in-betweens.” For people who want to go on a 2–3 week holiday or stay longer, for couples, families with kids, for those who’ve never been to Asia and don’t know what to expect — or who went once long ago, maybe only to Thailand. If you need help planning your trip, that’s what we do every day. You’re very welcome here 🥰
This site will be useful for anyone who wants to relax, explore, and have fun in Asia, while also getting practical information. It’s also for those hesitating between destinations, or who simply don’t have time and need clear, concrete details.
Here you’ll find curiosities, ready-made trip descriptions, prices, real-life stories, and other useful tips. And on our blog, a lot of… pretty fascinating content is waiting for you.

THE DARK SIDE OF BALI
Opinions about Bali are divided. Some return enchanted by its nature, architecture, and culture, while others see it as overrated, overcrowded, and shaped entirely for tourism.
So what’s the truth? Is Bali really worth spending a considerable amount of money on and traveling more than 11,000 kilometers to reach?
I hope I can help you form your own opinion, as I always try to look at things from both sides.
Here you’ll find arguments for and against. Expect a good dose of reality checks, digressions, curiosities, anecdotes, warnings, and recommendations.
